Do you offer part time care?
We offer part time and drop in care for children 3 and older. At this time children 2 and under must be full time. 

Do you offer summer care?
Yes! We offer summer care built with flexibility in mind when it comes to family's busy schedules. Visit our Summer Care page to register. 

Do you serve breakfast?
We do not serve breakfast. However, we do provide 2 snacks (AM and PM) and lunch daily. Parents are encouraged to have children eat breakfast before they arrive at ECEC.

How do you handle allergies?
We are happy to work with families if their children have allergies. We have CPR/First Aid certified staff and work with families create medical plans so staff and children are prepared if there is an allergy emergency.

What are the hours available?
We are open from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. We are closed on major holidays and follow the Principal’s decision for inclement weather.

How do you collect payments?
We are a pre-paid program that accepts cash, check, or electronic payments with the Brightwheel App. Our plans are a flat weekly rate that is due the Friday before the week of care.

What ages can receive care at the center?
The Bergan Early Childhood Education Center cares for infants through age 12.

How do you handle billing for school breaks like Christmas?
ECEC operates as an enrollment-based center, where children enrolled on a part-time or full-time basis are billed weekly to secure their spot in our program. Billing continues during breaks, as children are welcome to attend ECEC even when school is not in session (with the exception of major holidays when the center is closed). Enrolled children are guaranteed their place at ECEC, while those on a drop-in status are subject to availability. While we strive to accommodate all drop-in children, there may be occasions when the center reaches full capacity or staffing limitations require us to limit drop-ins for the day.
